What I Love About Palmetto Bay

1. The public and private schools are top rated (Palmetto High School, Palmetto Middle School, SouthWood Middle, Coral Reef Elementary, Westminster, Palmer Trinity just to name a few…

2. Deering Estate – it’s an estate that was owned by Charles Deering in early 1920. He was a preservationist, environmentalist, and art collector among other things. Deering estate always has family-friendly events, such as the seafood festival, tours of the historic estate and nature surrounding it, and it is often used for private events such as weddings. My husband and I actually took our engagement pictures here!

3. It is a very family-oriented and welcoming neighborhood. There are always plenty of events and activities going on. For example, Coral Reef Park always has children’s games going over the weekends and there is Farmer’s Market that takes place every Sunday. You also have Miami Metro Zoo and Fairchild Botanical Gardens close by.

4. Palmetto Bay is a very safe neighborhood with great parks, beautiful greenery and trees, and there are great shopping malls and restaurants are close by.
